Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Zeoze app and this website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Zeoze.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Zeoze. If you are under 13, you may not create an account, and we will remove any account we believe belongs to someone younger.
• You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone else.

Acceptable use

Do not post, send, or upload anything that:

• is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
• is hateful, harassing, threatening, or targets someone because of who they are;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualises a minor in any way whatsoever;
• depicts or encourages violence, self-harm, or dangerous behaviour;
• shows another person without their permission, or otherwise violates someone's privacy;
• infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• is spam, a scam, or a deliberate attempt to mislead.

And do not:

• manipulate voting or results, whether by automation, duplicate accounts, or coordination;
• abuse the credit system, or attempt to create credits by any means other than using the app normally;
• scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service;
• harass another member, including through comments or repeated unwanted contact.

Reporting content

Every look in the feed has a menu that lets you hide it, mute the person who posted it, or report it. Reporting sends the content to us for review and immediately removes it from your own feed.

What we do about it

We review reports and take action proportionate to what we find. Depending on the case that may mean removing the content, restricting an account, suspending it, or removing it permanently. Serious cases, in particular anything involving a minor, are removed immediately and may be referred to the authorities.

We may remove content or accounts without prior notice where we believe there is a risk to someone's safety or a breach of the law.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content, solely in order to operate the service and show it to the audience you chose. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain in backups until they expire.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Remember that other people can see, and could copy, what you post. Do not upload anything you would not want seen.

Credits

• Zeoze runs on credits. Creating a vote request costs credits, and every new member starts with a balance.
• Credits are granted by us, at our discretion. They are a feature of the service rather than property or a currency, and they remain ours to issue and to adjust.
• Credits cannot currently be purchased, and have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or redeemed for anything outside the app.
• If we introduce paid credit packages in future, they will be sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we will update these Terms before that happens.
• We may change what actions cost. Changes apply going forward, never retroactively to credits you already hold.

Results

Results are opinions of other members, shown as percentages, and are provided for your consideration only. They are not advice, and we make no promise that any particular number of people will vote on your request.

Ending your account

You can stop using Zeoze at any time and delete your account from inside the app. Here is how, and what it removes.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would create a risk for other members.

Availability

We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to retrieve your content.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Zeoze after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
